Dear Student,

The Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair will take place at UBC from April 8th - April 10th, 2010. The projects will be displayed upstairs in the Student Union Building in the Ballroom and the Party Room.

Please find enclosed a copy of the student package.

Inside the package you will find the following:

1. Map of UBC and the Student Union Building (black and white)
2. Judge’s Tally Sheet
3. Schedule for the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair
4. List of the projects from your school (separate sheet).  Project numbers will be available after March 27th, 2010.  Please note that the numbers you see are confirmation numbers.
5. Safety checklist
6. PMC-Sierra Science Fair Fun Run Entry Form and Poster.  This Run is on Sunday, May 30th, 2010 at Science World.  All money raised goes into supporting future science fairs.  It would be wonderful if your school could enter a team. 

There is one package per sponsor teacher.

Please note that all students will be sent an email about the contents of this package as well.  Students can download each document in this package when they login to the registration system at:

http://reg.gvrsf.ca. 

Students will need their email address and 6-digit registration number to access this information.  If they have forgotten their 6-digit registration number, there is an option for this number to be emailed to them on the registration site.  Please encourage students to login to the registration site before the Fair for further updates. 

They can login after March 27th, 2010 to obtain their project number and to view a map where their project will be located.
