When someone says “Think fast” and throws a ball at you, are you able to catch it? When the bell rings at the end of the class are you the first one out of your seat? Can you eliminate an enemy in a video game, before it eliminates you? If you can, you probably have a fast reaction time. My science project will explain about who has a faster reaction time, the people who play a lot of video games or the people who don’t and you will learn about how we detect, identify and react to the events that happen in video games. Also you will find out what kind of games might improve your reaction time and how people have a faster reaction time by playing those games. I will also explain about the parts of the brain that work together to perform eye to hand coordination. All of this information and more is going to be on my science fair project, and I will explain if video games do affect your reaction time, and if so, in a positive or a negative way?
