Water Purification Xandrina Fitz St Thomas Aquinas Floor Location: J81V

My hypothesis was, “I think that some impurities can be safely removed at home with house hold items because many materials can be used to remove particles in water.”

The main reason why I chose to do this experiment is because if there is ever going to be a problem with water purity (too much rain for instance) there may be a way to purify it using house hold items. Would it be better to run it through cotton or sand or maybe steam it and use the condensation?
