Earthquakes: Testing How Buildings Withstand the Disaster Hannah Ker and Tara Bishop Point Grey Floor Location: J3E

This project explores basic seismic design. We built several different buildings which each demonstrated a different technique used commonly in seismic design, as well as a building without any seismic design principle. We then tested these buildings on a shake table which we constructed, and compared the times in which each building collapsed.
