Plastic: 100%... friendly? Kathy Xie and Gabby Doebeli Queen Mary Floor Location: J13V

For our project, we innovated a method to extract molecules from plastic and convert them into liquid fertilizer. Because plastic takes so long to decompose, it has become a major issue in our society since it takes up so much space in the landfill. Therefore, we won't have the land to grow the amount of food needed to feed the population in the future. Hopefully, our invention will solve all those problems, and save our humanity. You never know, but maybe ten years later we'll be making plastic bags with "100% friendly" printed on them.
