Can autism be prevented? |
|
The aim of this study is to find (a) theoretical way(s) to eliminate autsim from occurence.
Hypothesis: Autism can be prevented at least 50% of the time.
Anyone who has ever worked in a school of daycare has likely seen autism. Autism Spectrum Disorder, or ASD, is a major neurological disease that strikes up to every 1 in 167 children. Misunderstood for many years, "autistics" have trouble socializing, even communicating, with others. Those who can talk may simply parrot the words of others. But the problems reach beyond this, far into the sparking brain; an autistic child is also unable to recognize the emotions of those around them, and therefore may behave inappropriately, or be positivly insensitive.Watchers may not discern any neurological problems at all, percieving the autistic child to be immature, or even mentally retarded.
There is no one definite
cause of autism. However, there exsist several highly plausible causation models,
the majority effecting the brain in some manner. Generalized, these are (or
are caused by):
Heavy metal poisoning
Inability to digest certain foods
Viral
Genetic
Neurological/Mental
Antibiotic overdose
A hyperactive/deficient immune system
An inflammed gut track
Children with regressive autism begin showing symptoms at around age two. Speech fails, previously mastered skills become unlearned, and the child suddenly stops waving, smiling when smiled at, or making eye contact -a nightmare for many parents.
There are several therapies and cures; the attempts of eliminating symptoms of autism of ASD are flying around. It has not before been seriously considered if autism could be currently occuring during avoidable situations. Can autism be prevented? The focus of study is, first, determining the circumstances in which a child, born or unborn may become afflicted. For example, babies are now being explosed to several strains of live viruses early on, via a large amount of vaccines. Such a great number of even weaked viruses overburdens the still growing immune system, increasing susceptiblilty to attacks from Candida fungi and other neurologically harmful pathogens. This can be avoided by using different kinds of vaccines when treating babies, such as using partial or inactived pathogens. When all such circumstances are calculated, a viable (or the most simplistic) way to theoretically avoid those circumstances will be found. These circumstances will be combined, simplified and categorized (this list will be presented). If ASD is unpreventable in 55% or more of average cases, then autsim will be deemed generally unavoidable.
Sadly, many that witness autism don't understand what they see; Those with Aspergers indeed simply appear to be misbehaved children, are avoided, and so, friendless. This should and must be averted, and as I believe, might long ago have been, if true effort had been made. Parents all over the world, who have toiled for their autistic children, are owed that much.
A very special thanks for my own autistic brother, who led me to begin this study, and gave me much first-hand experience before it.
