Our project is called "The Fouse of 2007". We wanted to design a mouse for people with no hands and arms. Our hypothesis is that we will have a working mouse that will be controlled by the foot. We were inspired to do this because we have felt that we have always wanted to make an invention. We started our project by testing different mice to see which one would be most versatile to use. Then we thought of the comfort of the foot. Some problems we came across in the weeks of work were, the type of mouse we had chosen to use. Also what to do about crushing the hardware with your foot. One major thing we looked at was how common arthritis is. We found out that 1 in 7 people suffer from this in Canada. We think it will help people because anyone can use it, not just people without hands and arms. But also people who have arthritis and wrist pain. Our project is unique because it helps many people and it's our ticket to success with Microsoft!
