As generations of new technology advance, countless amounts of inventions are created. Apple Inc has made listening to music so simple with their recent pocket-sized prodigy; the iPod. The iPod is a hip, new gadget and is well-enjoyed amongst all ages, particularly teenagers. Aside from the fact that this magnificent MP3 player is ultimately convenient and attractive, it may also be causing serious damage to your hearing. The focus of our project is to observe how listening to an iPod might affect your hearing temporarily.

Our first hypothesis was that listening to an iPod would affect your short term hearing. And our second was that listening to an iPod at higher volumes would further affect your short term hearing.

In conclusion, we have discovered that listening to an iPod for does affect your short term hearing. In addition to that, as we assumed, listening to an iPod at a higher volume does affect your short term hearing further.
